Hi, my name is Abby and I am 19 years old. I’m from the Comox Valley, which is just up the island. I will be living here at home this term for the summer!
I just finished my second year of the 4-year Elementary Education program. I am unsure what grade I want to teach in the future, however, I am leaning toward middle school. I like to bake, ski, snowboard, surf, read, and listen to music (Taylor Swift). My favorite albums are Reputation, Folklore, and of course TTPD! I also like to hike. Last year I did an inquiry project on hiking for one of my classes using this same site, which was great because now I feel more comfortable with how to use it! I chose to take EDCI 335 as one of my ten additional courses to get my TQS upgrade. I am not totally sure what this course entails, but I am hoping to learn how I can use technology and design to enhance teaching!
